This is a nice view of Carnwath, which was commissioned by James Jackson, the stationer. It was sent believe it or not at 10pm on August 21st 1911 from Carnwath. It was sent to Miss Fagnan at a Nursing Home at Gnadan in Saxony. Her father tells her that his shoulder is awfully sore after shooting lots of grouse and hares.
The view shows some of the residents of Carnwath taking a rather leisurely view of life. There was little time for leisure for most people. One can see several men bringing a waggon into Carnwath.
